The IVR Check-in service allows a user to satisfy a check-in request from virtual any phone, anywhere. All you have to do is register the phone you are going to use on the system. Not only can you check-in, but you can also leave a message or be redirected to an operator.
To register your phone, you simply add it as you would any other device. If you don't know how to do this consult the Adding Devices video tutorial. When creating the device, you must enter the phone number of device that you will call in from.
Please use the following format:
+Country/RegionCode AreaCode SubscriberNumber
For example, this is how you would enter a number for a subscriber in the USA with a region code of 425 and subscriber number of 7750100:
+14257750100
If your number is not recognised by our IVR service, then your call will be disconnected.
Please note that if you are using a desk phone behind a local PBX switch, then the number presented may be your external number.
The following numbers should be used to call the check-in service, depending on the location you are calling from:

You may leave a voice message with this option. On the portal, a message will appear in the phone Inbox. Clicking on the message will cause the recording to be played back to the portal user.
A transcription of the recorded message is currently being trialled. When the automatic transcription is completed, the message in the inbox is updated with the text of the transcription. Please note that this service is for trial purposes only and may be withdrawn at any time.
This option simply repeats the menu options.
