Supported Browsers

The most recent two production versions that were available at the time of the last GAP release are supported for the following browsers:

• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
• Microsoft Edge (Chromium version)

The most recent production version that was available at the time of the last GAP release is supported for the following browsers:

• Apple Safari

Note for users of Google Chrome

GAP Portal alert sounds may not play if the user hasn't interacted with the page after login. If this is a potential issue in your environment, you may want to try running Chrome with a different auto-play policy. To do this, modify your usual Google Chrome shortcut (right click and then click "Properties") and append the following to the "Target" text box:

 --autoplay-policy=no-user-gesture-required

Note: after making this change, websites other than GAP will be able to automatically play content without the user needing to have first interacted with the page.
