Before you register an Extreme on GAP, you must ensure that you have provisioned the handset on Iridium SPnet for SBD or LBS. If you do not know the email address to add on SPnet, then please contact the Support Desk.
If you are not familiar with SPnet, please contact your airtime service provider.
In addition, you must have an account on the portal to configure the device as detailed below.

How to obtain the PIN code:
If you have an account already, log in and navigate to the Device>Configuration>Advanced page where the PIN number for the handset is displayed. This is the PIN number that you enter on the handset.
If you do not have an account, click the “Sign Up” link on the login page and follow the instructions. This will create an account and generate the PIN number you need for the handset.
If there is no “Sign Up” link on your portal, you must contact your service provider. Some service providers will provide this service for you and pre-register your device. If so, then you can skip this section.

If your device is already registered and you attempt to register again, the message “The specified device is already registered” will display on the page. If you cannot login at this stage, then contact your service provider.
Once you have completed this step, the portal will display a page containing a PIN code. This code needs to be entered into your device. Additionally, an e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address entered in the previous step. The email contains a verification link that must be clicked to complete the registration process and create your account.
Before undertaking this procedure, you should ensure that the Iridium Extreme is provisioned on SPNet for SBD. If you do not know the e-mail addresses to configure for SBD, please contact the Support Desk on firstname.lastname@example.org.
