Login to the SPOT portal at https://login.findmespot.com.
Select the “My Devices” tab.
Hover your mouse over the “Contact Details” alongside the device you wish to configure. A “View/Edit” link will appear which you must click. The “Settings” page will appear for the device.
Please note that you must not change the name of your device. It should be of the form 0-1234567. This identifier is known as the ESN and is used by GAP to identify your device.
In the “Showing Profile” section of the page, click the “Edit” link on the “Check-in/OK” grey heading.
To add an email address, click the “Add Email” link alongside the envelope icon. A new dialog box will appear.
Enter one of the following e-mail addresses:
You may also edit the message that is sent by entering your text into the “Message To Send” box.
Click the orange “Save” button.
In the “Showing Profile” section of the page, click the “Edit” link on the “Help” grey heading.
To add an email address, follow the procedure in Step 3.
Click the orange “Save” button.
Your SPOT device is now configured to work with GAP
