Updating your profile

To update your user profile:

  1. Click "Options"
  2. Click "My Profile"

To change your display name and citizenship

  1. Click "Name, Photo & Citizenship"
  2. Enter your name in the "First Name" and "Last Name" text boxes
  3. Select the relevant country from the "Citizenship" drop-down list
  4. Click "OK"

To upload a photo

  1. Click "Name, Photo & Citizenship"
  2. Click the "Select Photo" button
  3. Browse to the location of the photo on your PC
  4. Click "OK"

To change your address and phone number(s)

  1. Click "Address and Phone"
  2. Enter the relevant details
  3. Click "OK"

To change your emergency contact information

  1. Click "Emergency Planning & Contacts"
  2. Enter the relevant details
  3. Click "OK"

Note: This information will be included in event notification e-mails relating to emergency alerts so please ensure it is kept up-to-date.

To change your password

  1. Click "Change Password"
  2. Enter your current password in the "Current Password" text box
  3. Enter your new password in the "New Password" text box
  4. Confirm your new password by entering it in the "Re-enter New Password" text box
  5. Click "OK"

To change your security question and answer:

  1. Click "Change Security Question"
  2. Enter a new question in the "Security Question" text box
  3. Enter a new answer in the "Security Answer" text box
  4. Click "OK"

Note: The answer to this question should be known only to you.

To change your time zone, default units, track line style and other display options:

  1. Click "Portal Settings"
  2. Amend the settings as required
  3. Click "OK"

To configure portal alert sounds and notification settings

You can configure an audible sound and the notification toast behaviour when there is a new "Critical" alert or a device enters "Emergency" state.

  1. Click "Portal Alert Settings"
  2. Specify whether on screen alert toast hides automatically after 10 seconds or it needs to be closed manually
  3. Optionally select audio playback and pick sound file to be played when there is any alert
  4. Click "OK"

Audio Options:There are four options for audio alerts:

You can choose from several audio files. The sound will play when the selection is changed.

To configure your default map view

  1. Click "Options"
  2. Click "My Profile"
  3. Click "Portal Settings"
  4. From the "Custom Default Viewport" drop-down list, select "Use Current Map as New Custom Viewport"
  5. Pan / zoom map as required
  6. Click "OK"

The map will always then revert back to the location / zoom level you set in step 5 when navigating around the Portal.

To change the viewport if it's already been set, simply repeat the steps above.

To revert back to the default behaviour (zoom to show all devices):

  1. Click "Options"
  2. Click "My Profile"
  3. Click "Portal Settings"
  4. From the "Custom Default Viewport" drop-down list, select "Use Default Viewport"
  5. Click "OK"
