Managing Check-In Schedules

A Check-In Schedule is a series of times at which a user must send a check-in message. Schedules can be configured to specify an interval (for example, every 6 hours) or certain times on certain days (for example, at 09:00 and 13:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays).

Schedules must first be created, then assigned and finally enabled.

Add a Check-In Schedule

  1. Click "Options"
  2. Click "Check-In Schedules"
  3. Click "+"
  4. Enter a name for the schedule in the "Schedule Name" text box
  5. Select a tenant in which the schedule will reside from the "Tenant" drop-down list
  6. Enter a buffer period in the "Check-In Buffer Period" text box (this figure represents how much time either side of the intended time the user can check-in before a warning is raised)
  7. Select a time zone from the "Time Zone" drop-down list
  8. Select at which times (or at which interval) the user should check-in
  9. Click "Save"

Assign a Check-In Schedule to devices

  1. Click "Options"
  2. Click "Check-In Schedules"
  3. Click on the Schedule you wish to apply
  4. Click "Assign Devices and Groups"
  5. Drag and drop the devices that you wish to use the selected Check-In Schedule from the bottom of the panel to the top
  6. Click "Save"

Enable a Check-In Schedule

If you have assigned the schedule to a group:

  1. Click "Options"
  2. Click "Groups"
  3. Click on the group to which you assigned the schedule
  4. Click "Check-In Schedules"
  5. Click "Enable Check-In Schedule"

If you have assigned the schedule to a device or devices individually (i.e. not via a group), for each device:

  1. Click "Devices"
  2. Click on the device to which you assigned the schedule
  3. Click "Configure"
  4. Click "Check-In Schedules"
  5. Check the "Enable Check-In Schedule" option
  6. Click "OK"

Edit a Check-In Schedule

  1. Click "Options"
  2. Click "Check-In Schedules"
  3. Click on the Schedule you wish to edit
  4. Click "Edit"
  5. Amend the Schedule as required
  6. Click "Save"

Delete a Check-In Schedule

  1. Click "Options"
  2. Click "Check-In Schedules"
  3. Click on the Schedule you wish to delete
  4. Click "Delete"
  5. Click "Yes, Delete"
